Maxima Maytag Washer Door Locked

If the washer was powered on before being connected to water the door may be locked and it may go into a drain mode.

The door is locked the pump is humming and the controls are all blank. Replace the door lock switch if defective. Unplugging for hours did nothing read more. Clear any debris out of the door lock assembly.

Reconnect power to washer plug in. After plugging the washer in one of the following 3 events will happen. I have a maytag maxima front loader and it is doing exactly what the thread above is saying. The door may immediately unlock.
